We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

The Immediate Ratification of the UN Convention on the Rights of a Child

Created by E.S. on May 05, 2016

The convention was centered on major civil rights ideals, such as equality for all children. They should not be discriminated against in schools based on intelligence, poverty, race or religion. The convention stated that parents should deal with rights issues "in a manner consistent with the evolving capacities of the child". Explicitly stated at the convention was that all children have the right to a long and full life. This includes abolishing the death penalty for any child under 18, as well as, lifelong imprisonment. There were many other statements and articles established at the convention including the right for a child to have a voice. We the People demand equality, and it starts with our children.
