For the immediate removal of marijuana from the Schedule 1 Controlled Substance List and legalize it on a federal level.

I petition for marijuana to be legalized federally, or for the resignation of the President of the United States. I find it hypocritical that the President could be a pothead growing up, be black and know the discrimination that comes with marijuana and minoirities and continue to support it. I am not petitioning this because I have something against the President, I just think it's sad that the first black president who used to use it will still send other blacks and hispanics to jail for possesion while politicians, actors, and rappers use without reprisal. Marijuana is God's creation, it is not dangerous, you cannot overdose on it, and it would benefit not just minorities, but the economy and the enviroment. If you cannot legalize marijuana, then we should prohibit alcohol n cigarettes.
