FBI director James Comey has politicised the investigative process at the FBI to a degree that we find unacceptable. By hosting press conferences and issuing letters to congress about investigative proceedings he has tarnished the reputation and impartiality of the United States foremost law enforcement agency. He has also violated DOJ policies and traditions regarding interfering with the electoral process. Director Comey should resign and be subjected to an investigation into his motives as to why he would act in such an unprecedented and unprofessional manner.
