We the people of the United States respectfully request President Obama to immediately abolish the requirement to pay back the first time homebuyer credit that was given to first time homebuyers from 2008 and before. It is unfair that anyone who received the credit after 2008 not only received a larger credit but that they also are not required to repay the credit. A tax credit should be such and not a 'loan' from the government as this is misrepresented. Mr. President, please end the repayment requirement by giving immediate forgiveness of any repayment amount of the credit still owed by homeowners and instruct the IRS to refund all monies collected for the repayment of the credit since its inception.
