Immediately address the issue to not regulate gun control through the introduction of legislation in Congress.

The goal of this petition is to force the Obama Administration to leave legislation alone that would fundamentally change the 2nd amendment right given by the US Constitution. While a national dialogue is critical, People are not murdered by guns, people murder people. The ownership of guns should always be allowed under the Constitution's intended purpose of the right to bear arms. Therefore, Congress must act on what is stated law and the Constitution that access to firearms is a fundamental right according to the Second Amendment.
The signatures on this petition represent a collective bipartisan discussion to not change the current laws that regulates how a citizen obtains a gun. Current laws should remain as they are. We need to address the people issues as to why these things happen.
