The citizens of this country have been placed in harms way by the actions of our government in releasing and negotiating with terrorists. A deserter who left his post is worthy of trade in exchange for 5 Taliban officials while the lives of all of the soldiers that served honorably have been continuously placed in jeopardy. He violated his oath to the people of the United States, brought dishonor to the uniform, and violated the Uniform Code of Military Justice. We, the honorable veterans of this country, demand an immediate apology by all elected officials involved as well as punishment under the UCMJ for the recently released deserter, Bowe Bergdahl.
