Immediately appoint a Special Prosecutor to investigate the suspicious death of Michael Hastings.

Created by J.R. on June 23, 2013

MIchael Hastings was an esteemed investigative journalist who pulled no punches and made serious enemies in the US government and military-industrial complex. He died in a reported "car accident" in Los Angeles June 18, 2013.

It has since become public knowledge that in the day before he was killed Michael emailed his employer and a friend that he believed he was being investigated by the FBI because his friends were being interviewed. In this email he said he had to go "off the radar" due to his working on a big story. He separately, a few hours before his death according to Wikileaks, contacted a lawyer on their staff, Jennifer Robinson, to claim the FBI was investigating him.

That a deadly "accident" would occur so shortly thereafter demands an impartial investigation.
