Mr President,
We implore you to reconsider the halting of the Keystone XL construction project. Not only does it make good sense economically, recent history shows that oil and natural gas pipeline construction is a safe, modernized system. In addition to significantly boosting local economies where the construction will take place, many families who specialize in this trade are depending on these jobs to put food on the table, new shoes on their kids' feet, new roofs on their homes and new cars in the driveway. Please do not play politics with the livelihoods of thousands of American taxpayers!
