The purpose of approving the Keystone pipeline project is to increase employment and tax revenue for local, state and federal. This would lower our fuel cost because our oil source will come from a strong, loyal neighbor and ally, Canada instead of importing oil from hostile, unstable countries. This would ultimately improve the economy of our country.
