Immediately author and propose a bill limiting the maximum number of consecutive terms for members of Congress to THREE.

Many Americans express deep dissatisfaction with the politics and entrenchment found in Washington D.C. Although "We the People" idealistically project our hopes and dreams onto the offices of our leaders, we realistically acknowledge the difficulty for lifelong politicians of all parties to work for the broader constituency and for the collective good of the American people. The fear and risk of conceding a lifelong pursuit, the holding of public office, because of a loss of partisan support and funding is an active hindrance in forming bipartisan coalitions and cooperation. By placing consecutive term limits on these offices, our leaders will be urged to focus on serving the American people that placed them in office as opposed to appeasing their party leaders in order to keep their jobs
