After the violent injuries caused by 57 Americans in a high capacity ferry incident in New York, we recognize that we must take immediate actions to protect the American citizen. In the US, over 40,000 people are killed every year by the so-called transportation industry. This is unacceptable, as this represents four times more people that are killed by firearms, and over a hundred times more people than are killed by assault rifles. We must immediately press forward in the wake of the tragedy of New York to overcome the stiff resistance set forward by the AAA.
