Immediately ban the sale of ALL assault type weapons and further, to go collect those that are not used in the military.

This petition is to immediatel end the sale of ALL assault type weapons in the United States. It also is to put into law that all of these types of weapons that are currently owned whether they be legal or not be collected by State and Local Police as well as National Guard and whatever other agencies are needed. The penalty for not handing these guns over is punishable by imprisonment. The individuals owning these should be reimbursed for the cost of the weapons as to not suffer monetary loss. There is absolutely no reason to have such a weapon or weapon or weapons in anyones home. The 2nd amendment needs to be Amended. I can guarantee you that our forefathers were not speaking of assault weapons when creating the "Right to bear arms". Please stop sale of theses weapons today. Save us!
