We request that the Government of the United States immediately begin planning, logistics, and execution of significant humanitarian aid to the suffering people of Palestine in Gaza. The infrastructure to supply basic human needs has been destroyed by war. Additionally, the occupying state of Israel totally controls and drastically limits all incoming and outgoing people and goods from the militarily controlled Gaza region. Aid must include immediate needs such as water, food, temporary shelter, medical supplies and doctors. Additional long term assistance must include rebuilding of infrastructure necessary for human life such as generation of electricity, water purification, telecommunications, transportation, and rebuilding of destroyed homes. Israel must be compelled to allow this.
