Everyone deserves a fair trial.
The majority of persons held in Guantanamo have never even been charged with a crime, but they are often held for life.
If the administration has reason to believe that every detainee in Guantanamo Bay is guilty of a crime and deserving of an extended incarceration, then they should provide evidence of this guilt for the public. Open trials would be the most transparent way to accomplish this.
Furthermore, prisoners cleared for release in 2008 have yet to actually be released have lost nearly half a decade in prison since then. Worse still, Guantanamo is near synonymous with abuse-over 200 FBI agents reported the abuse of prisoners there.
Sign if you'd like a trial before being held indefinitely in a place like that.
