Issue Executive Order to immediately cancel all retirement, medical/disability and employment insurance plans for Congress except those available to all.
It is a clear conflict of interest for Congress to vote on matters related to itself.
Congress should have the same retirement (Social Security) medical/disability (Medicare/Medicaid) and unemployment insurance that all citizens do.
During their term of employment Congress should be required to purchase private medical/disability insurance with their own payroll deductions like all other citizens that are fortunate enough to have such insurance.
Congress needs "skin in the game". It is ridiculous to expect Congress to properly legislate on these issues when they are protected from their own legislation and given special treatment.
