immediately cease all deficit spending.

Created by M.M. on December 27, 2012

Our National Debt has been increasing at a surprising rate.

2000 - 5.6 T
2004 - 7.5 T (+1.9T)
2008 - 10.6 T (+3.1T)
2012 - 16.4 T (+6.2T)
2016 - 22.2 T (same level of increase from 2008 to 2012) probably will be higher with the spending in the healthcare law.

All our politicians care about is how quickly they can spend our money. We currently spend ~3.5T a year of which we only tax ~2.4T a year. This leaves us with a deficit of 1.1T a year or nearly 30%.

We are calling for an immediate cease in ALL deficit spending. This will mean cuts at all levels of government immediate and PERMANENT cuts.

Our government should be operating on a zero-based budget with no budget increases not supported by actual increased revenues.

Bush's spending was unacceptable. Yours is no different.
