All,
Members of the United States Military are held to the highest standards regarding the wear and appearance of uniforms. These standards are upheld through regulations under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Many strive for the best possible image and wear the uniform with pride. They do this not only for themselves, but as a tribute to those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice. They earn the rank, awards, and decorations that adorn these uniforms, and, while wearing them, become an extension of the military. JROTC students are not held to the same standards, yet they are authorized to wear current US Military uniforms, rank, and awards that they did not earn. I propose to disallow the wear of current uniforms for grade school JROTC students.
