We are about to enter a period of sequestration because of the government's lack of ability to create and manage a balanced budget and reduce our deficit. However, despite this the federal government still seems to find it appropriate to make promises of foreign aid to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars. While this is going on, here at home programs, and aid for citizens (such as those who are victims of Hurricane Sandy) are being scaled back because allegedly there is not enough money.
While it is granted that there is not enough money because of our national debt, We The People, are angry and outraged over this injustice and demand that foreign aid cease immediately until we have managed our national debt and are able to take care of the citizens of our country.
