Congress members have no idea what it's like living on minimum wage. One person living on minimum wage and working 40 hours a week can't even afford a two bedroom apartment in any state. Congress should have their salary cut to minimum wage. Once that happens lets see how fast things change. They should only receive reasonable and to the public's knowledge raises when they have shown they deserve one. Lets remind Congress we don't work for them, they work for us.
