Immediately create a Task Force to Prevent Mass Shootings and direct it to examine and address all possible factors.

To avoid bipartisan gridlock on the issue of gun violence legislation, to immediately create a Task Force to examine all factors reasonably raised as possibly contributing factors to gun violence. This Task Force would be directed to reach collaborative, all-inclusive solutions to prevent incidents of mass violence by automatic and other weapons on our civilians and on our schoolchildren. All proposed factors, such as an automatic weapons ban except for military purposes, priorities on mental health issues and background checks, civil rights including our second amendment and privacy rights, as well as our right to life, liberty, and happiness -- all factors should be fully examined by neutral members of the task force advised by experts in each field, and solutions found.
