Rescue efforts are underway by local law enforcement and concerned citizens but the need is overwhelming. Waters are rising and more citizens are in need of rescue by boat than current resources can handle. People are in jeopardy of dying and being stranded in distress for long periods of time in hazardous conditions.
The federal government must intervene NOW!
