Immediately direct the National Parks Service to lift the ban on electric rotor aircraft.

Created by M.H. on May 26, 2015

Currently the NPS allows commercial operations in many National Parks to include tours, camp site operators, gas stations, stores, restaurants, etc. This requires expenditures to maintain the areas that these commercial operations serve, contributes to pollution and can have a negative impact on animal habitats.

Yet, the NPS has established a ban on all electric rotor aircraft; single and multi-engine in ALL National Parks. Electric rotor aircraft; single and multi-engine are the only true ‘Leave No Trace’ activity.

There is no doubt that regulation is needed but arbitrarily banning electric rotor aircraft; single and multi-engine from the National Parks systems without public input is wrong.

Lift the ban Mr. President!
