In recent light of the federal governments desire to manage our firearms. It has come to my attention that this is a feat that they are incapable of. Operation "Fast and Furious" was a some what recent attempt by a federal agency to manage the sale, possession, and policing of a great number of assault weapons. In this operation many of the assault rifles they now propose to ban easily and freely went to known Mexican drug cartels.
This operation occurred under the watchful eyes of the ATF and is a perfect example of the U.S. governments inability to manage firearms. This petition therefore requests that all irresponsible federal agencies give up their firearms. This would not include tasers as they are non lethal and do not pose a threat to agents or the public.
