Immediately disclose who gave the order for our forces to stand down from assisting our consulate personnel in Benghazi.

Created by J.S. on November 16, 2012

During the terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, someone in the Obama administration gave a stand down order to forces on the ground that were requesting permission to assist American Embassy personnel who were in desperate need of assistance. In addition to our operatives being ordered to stand down, military assets within the operational theater that could have been used to repel the assault on the consulate were denied upon request. President Obama assured the American people in 2008 that his administration would be the most transparent in American history. In the spirit of that pledge, President Obama should immediately release the name(s) of those who ordered the stand down, as well as explain why support assets were denied for the protection of American personnel.
