This petition demands that the Federal Government immediately take steps to end the illegal occupation by armed protesters of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Oregon. Once again, the Bundy family is leading an illegal and dangerous movement to overthrow federal control of our National Parks and Forests. Literally, "this land is your land. This land is my land," but according to these fanatics, it's their land and demand to use it in a way that increases profits while harming endangered species and natural resources. With a total disregard for law and safety, these fanatics have taken the Wildlife Refuge by force and are prepared to violently resist any attempts to end their illegal occupation. This injustice must be stopped if the rule of law is to have any legitimacy in America
