The Pentagon's 1033 Program which is supplying our local police departments with military surplus weapons and armament. This combined with Federal Government anti-drug grants is causing our communities to become increasingly more violent. I ask of you Mr. President to end this program and stop the supply of police departments with Military grade arms. The police are there to Protect and Serve the citizens, not to scare and intimidate.
