Affording a species the status of "endangered" is intended to protect the natural population from destruction, and in so doing protecting the balance of life and natural resources in our nation, and on our planet.
Removing such protections from a species after awarding it does not make sense ecologically. Slaughtering large numbers of animals, as is being done now that protection has been taken from wolves in the United States, is what leads to endangerment and extinction in the first place. There is no reason to give protections, then remove them, then give them, then remove them. Doing so would be like awarding equal rights to certain populations of people, but when those rights are practiced in too many instances, they are removed again. This is not what America represents.
