Request that President Obama immediately fire Donna Seymour, the Office of Personnel Management Chief Information Officer, for the massive IT security failures on her watch. At the end of the day, the CIO is ultimately responsible for securing the IT systems of an organization, especially in this case with years of IG reports lamenting the extremely poor state of IT security at OPM. Faith cannot be restored in an organization until there is accountability. The data breaches at OPM represent a gold mine of counter intelligence information for the Chinese government, and a potentially catastrophic threat to the national security of the United States.
