Immediately guarantee that no new legislation will be enacted that further curtails an individual's right to bear arms.

Created by J.L. on December 17, 2012

We petition the Obama Administration to recognize the authority of the Second Amendment as a right that "shall not be infringed" in the context of its original conception as an important safeguard against the potential for threats against personal safety as they may arise from crime, war, societal upheaval, and tyrannical government.

We petition the Administration to state in no uncertain terms that the Second Amendment right to bear arms, as codified in our Constitution, will not be infringed in any way and that no new laws will be created that remotely threaten this right.

Additionally, we request that the Obama Administration more adequately consider the broader milieu of cultural tendencies that may be playing a significant part in the rise of mass shootings in this country.
