In lieu of what is claimed by Israel's establishment, Israel's contempt for truces is nothing new.
In November 2008, Israel broke months-long ceasefire, manufacturing a crisis that it then used to justify its December 2008-January 2009 massacre of 1,400 people in Gaza.
In November 2012, again Israel has broken the truce pact. Fictitious claims of rockets being fired in Israel's territory was just a ploy to violate the sovereignty of Gazans. Israel couldn't back up its claims by showing the account of lives lost, due to the missiles they claimed were fired from Gaza territory.
