The federal government has recently "fired" thousands of active duty U.S. military personnel in the aftermath of our abandonment of Iraq and Afghanistan. These United States heroes deserve more than a "pink slip" from our government. Considering the invasion of our southern border by illegal immigrant men, women, children, gang members, documented felons, and potentially terrorist groups, our border patrol is woefully understaffed and unprepared to handle this flood of illegal aliens. This petition calls on the federal government to employ a minimum of 5000 recently unemployed U.S. servicemen and women as Border Patrol Agents, to immediately secure our southern border and protect the territorial integrity of the United States of America and her legal citizens.
