In light of the horrific human rights violations being perpetrated against the LGBT community in Russia and the sanctioning of violence against the LGBT community through laws prohibiting access to information about LGBT, we demand Congress & the White House immediately impose trade sanctions against Russia.
Until the repeal of laws prohibiting the discussion of LGBT rights and the creation of laws prohibiting violence against members of the LGBT community occur the US should restrict all trade and economic transactions.
The people of the United States will not stand by while the Russian government continues to create a hostile and repressive environment on a subset of its own citizens. We call on Congress & the White House to immediately imposed the above economic sanctions on Russia.
