Immediately increase NASA's annual budget to 1% of our total budget.

NASA's budgets have slowly slipped under 0.5% of America's annual budget. To put it in perspective, they receive approximately 16 million, compared to approximately 700 billion for our defense. We the people ask for the slimming of one, or a combination of other budgets to accommodate for NASA's extra 16 million. Without their exploration and expertise, America will continue to fail to innovate and inspire. The extra money would be spent towards contracting other American space corporations, thus funding jobs and improving our weakened economy. To embarrass us more, we are the only country that has the ability to explore space, but currently have no shuttle or operational transportation to get us there.
