Bullets kill people.
Immediately enact legislation to impose a National Sales Tax on each individual bullet sold. The tax should be on a sliding scale starting at $5.00 each for lower caliber bullets up to $20.00 each for higher caliber bullets. Guns will never be unavailable for the wrong people but if the cost per bullet was increased, it could help prevent mass slayings and aid the US economy. Proceeds to be divided between Law Enforcement, Mental Health and a general Victim's Fund.
The time for action is now.
