The method used by the Justice Department to acquire phone records from the Associated Press represents a huge government overreach and is very dangerous to the freedom of the press. America is built of the freedom of the press and if methods such as these are allowed to occur, government will electively be able to conduct itself in total secrecy (petition filed by a loyal Obama supporter who is very disappointed after this last week and is putting all future support of the president contingent on this petition being honored.)
