Immediately Issue Executive Order Requiring Government Contractors Disclose all Political Spending.

The insidious effects of unbridled corporate political spending is one of the greatest threats to our democracy. Among those subverting legislation and elections to further their own corporate ends, not those of the people, government contractors are among the most egregious. We have a right to know how those corporations whose profits are directly derived from payments of our tax dollars use our money to exert influence on our elections and legislation. It is past time for President Obama to quit stalling and issue an executive order requiring these organizations disclose all of their recent and future political expenditures of any kind, no matter which political candidates may be embarrassed by the disclosures.
