The American people are tired of "careerist" politicians who do and say anything to stay in power. They should be citizens first and politicians second, but those who have been there too long have lost perspective. National polls in the past have supported term limits at this level. Now is the time to begin the real dialogue. Everyone should write their representatives in these elected positions to request that this be brought up for a vote.
