Immediately Order Single Payer Medicare for ALL under the Executive Branch's Emergency Orders authority.

We have the 43rd worst health care of all developed (and some not so developed) countries. 1100 People - US Citizens - die each week because of lack of insurance. In fact this is a low figure. If any foreign Government killed that many people here in the us we would be outraged. If any person or corporation did so, they would be arrested. It is our Corporate Health Insurance System which kills these Americans. This qualifies as a bigger emergency than Katrina, Irene, the Quake in Virginia, yet nothing to directly address this has been done. If EVERYONE - healthy or sick were in ONE POOL, the costs for everyone would go down tremendously. AND the insurance companies, after screaming, would be as happy to supply the coverage in the US as they are in Canada, Switzerland, etc.
