1st Lieutenant Michael Behenna has been convicted of murdering Ali Mansur an al Qaeda operative on YOUR kill or capture list.
It is essential to the integrity of the military, and the common decency of your office that we do not prosecute, nor persecute troops who follow the orders of their commander in chief. By placing a foreign operative on the kill and capture list, this identifies that individual as the most dangerous threat to not only our troops, but our country. To take the actions that have been taken go beyond unjust and extend to the realm of the hypocritical and immoral.
This soldier must be immediately released and returned to duty. I for one do NOT want the troops protecting this country and our freedoms prosecuted when they do their duty.
