Mr President,
Lt. Cmdr. Timothy White is facing criminal charges for his actions in defending himself and others by possessing and discharging his personal firearm in defense against the armed attacker, Mohammad Youssef Abdulazeez.
In the interest of the very heart of the concept of justice, we the undersigned do hereby petition and beseech you to issue an immediate pardon to Lt. Cmdr. White and thereby preclude the present and any future prosecution of him in relation to this matter.
