immediately prohibit international travel into the United States by people in Ebola ravaged Countries of West Africa

Created by G.G. on October 01, 2014

The people of Dallas County are experiencing the reality of permitting persons to travel to the US from Ebola ridden countries. Mr. Thomas Duncan traveled from Monrovia, Liberia (through Belgium) into the US to see his sister on 9-19-2014. On 9-24-2014, he began experiencing symptoms of the Ebola virus. On 9-26-2014, he presented to Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, that sent him home with antibiotics where he continued to expose people until he was transported by Ambulance back to Presbyterian where he was identified and later confirmed with the Ebola virus. He was not symptomatic when he boarded the aircraft or arrived here, but has now exposed several people here to the deadly virus. Our government must better protect us by banning travel or quarantining arrivals
