We, the majority of The Tunica Biloxi Tribe of Lousiana, motion to recall and remove the current Tunica Biloxi Tribal Council of Marshall Pierite, Marshall Ray Sampson, Brenda Lintinger, Harold Pierite, and David Rivas based on evidence of criminal activity including but not limited to:
- Theft
- Embezzlement
- Misapplication of Tribal Funds
- Collusion
- Retaliation/Retribution
- Tampering of Election Ballots
- Illegal enrollment of at least 65 non tribal members
- Conspiracy
- Withholding the release of tribal financial documents
In addition, we are concerned with the lack of innovative development in the tribal government due to misuse of tribal funds by the current council and ask the Department of Interior for immediate assistance in resolving this matter.
