Per the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 [the ‘stimulus’], the Chairperson of the Council of Economic Advisers is required to submit quarterly reports to the Committees on Appropriations of the Senate and House of Representatives that detail the impact of programs funded through covered funds on employment, estimated economic growth, and other key economic indicators. The last report was issued was for the period ending June 2011. Therefore, the law of the act is not being followed.
This petition is to demand that the Obama administration immediately release the missing quarterly reports as required by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
