Immediately remove the Bald Eagle as the National Animal and replace it with the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

In 1782, the United States adopted the Bald Eagle as both the National Bird and the National Animal. While arguably the Bald Eagle is a very noble, regal bird and a symbol of both strength and freedom, I believe it is time that Americans embrace a new creature as the National Animal, The Flying Spaghetti Monster (FSM). Like the Bald Eagle, the FSM is a very majestic beast, and can soar to unbelievable heights, including to outer space and beyond. Like American Astronauts, the FSM is not bound by earthly constraints like oxygen and gravity, it can travel the Americas and the cosmos. The Bald Eagle has had a wonderful run as our National Animal, but the 21st Century demands a new of Freedom and Strength against all opponents, be the foreign, domestic, spiritual or trans-dimensional!
