Congress should no longer have any special retirement plan or healthcare plan. They should participate in the same plans as All Americans. They should have to pay Medicare and Social Security taxes, they should only be entitled to Social Security and Medicare, just like the rest of America. In this way, they can finally, perhaps, understand the reality of health care and Retirement. It simply is not appropriate for these people to have SUPERIOR healthcare, benefits and lifetime retirement that differs so DRAMATICALLY from the people who they represent and whom elected them.
