American Marine (former) Jon Hammar has been held hostage by the Mexican government since August 2012. In the meantime the President has done NOTHING to secure his release.
Pictures of Jon sitting chained by the leg to a metal bunk have circulated (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2250374/John-Hammar-Mother-Olivi...) showing that he is clearly being mistreated. He is also being held illegally by the Government of Mexico.
President Obama's willingness to simply abandon a US citizen (and a former Marine) to avoid a confrontation with the crooked Mexican government is inexcusable.
For these reasons, We The People now demand that the US send armed troops across the border into Mexico to rescue Jon Hammar from prison.
