Iranian born, American citizen Pastor Saeed Abedini deserves the protection of our great country and its leaders since our country was founded on religious freedom. Pastor Abedini was working with Iranian government to open a secular orphanage when he was arrested and thrown into prison for converting to Christianity when it was not against Iranian law to do so. Pastor Abedini has followed the law of Iran and still has been persecuted for his faith. President Obama speaking up for Abedini would tell the world and Iran's President and others that would harm American citizens that we will not allow our people to be mistreated. We propose that President and Mrs. Obama have Saeed Abedini's family to the White House for a Press Conference for this reason.
