Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. recently started a policy NOT to take legitimate doctor's excuses for absences. Management (both hourly and salaried) have consistently pushed associates to do three and four people's jobs. Management has refused to fix equipment and make the work place safe.
We petition for OSHA, The Department of Justice, and the National Labor Relations Board to convene a joint investigation into the policies and practices by Wal-Mart Management and to take appropriate action to correct practices that endanger associates into termination of employment.
We The People must take action to make the work place safe not just for Wal-Mart Associates, but all workers in the workforce.
