This latest attack on wolves is reprehensible. This bill would:
o Allow wolves to be choked to death in neck snares, killed in traps, hunted for 10 months of the year, including during breeding, pregnancy, denning and pup-rearing seasons;
o Make it legal to lure wolves into traps using dead wolves - including dead pack and family members; and
o Allow an unlimited amount of wolves to be killed in a given season.
A horrific, barbaric, chilling, inhumane act by anti-wolf lobbyists and OUR Congression. 72 Congressional signatures were secured on a letter to U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Director Dan Ashe demanding that wolves in the Lower 48 be completely delisted under the Endangered Species Act (ESA).
This is not something to be proud of not in this country, in this day and age
