The US government is in place to protect the citizens of the US. We have no business meddling in the affairs of other countries. Many of us see the kidnapping of these young girls as a tragedy and a human rights violation. If people want to help get these girls back to their parents they can voluntarily put up the money, pay a mercenary force and rescue the children.
